Like snowflakes, no two sites are the same.
This analogy is important to remember when it is determined that active remediation is necessary at a site. How often do we hear about a new “silver bullet” technology by an entrepreneur that claims that their “technology” will take care of the problem cheaper and faster. Unfortunately, many of these technologies may have eliminated one problem but created a new one.
At Genesis Project, the selection of the appropriate remedial alternative is based on:
A thorough understanding of site conditions,
The type of contamination present and
The selection of technologies that have been proven to work in that given situation.
When this task is completed, it may be determined that more than one remedial scenario will achieve the same goals. At that point, a life cycle cost analysis is prepared for each scenario to determine not only the total cost to reach the remedial goals, but also a detailed cash-flow analysis. This information allows our clients the opportunity to select the alternative that not only achieves the remediation goals, but also within the parameters that they can afford over the life of the project.
